Get to Know Evesham Township

Years ago, when I still lived in Philadelphia, I remember going with my parents to drive my brother back to Monmouth College in the 60's.  To get there we used to drive down Route 70 through Evesham Township.  I had no idea where we were.  It was as though we were driving through the wilderness somewhere.  Check out Evesham from the past (compliments of John Flack, Jr.)

And now, I've been living in Evesham since 1979.  What a change from the 60's.  There many farms operating in the township.  I believe the only operating farm in the township now is the Testa Farm on Elmwood Road.  If you're looking for fresh tomatoes, corn or other trees, bushes, flowers or fruits and vegetables, there's no better place to go for quality and great service.

There are so many great places to shop, like The Promenade, Marlton Crossing and Marlton Square.  Great places for food shopping like Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Genaurdis and Shoprite.  And many upscale shoppes at The Promenade on Route 73.

Where in the 60's, housing costs in Evesham were modest, today you can purchase an executive style home in Tuxedo Court, Ravenscliff or Knightsbridge.  The little town of Marlton has grown up and is a major player in South Jersey real estate.
